Kris Humphries Gives Kim Kardashian a Taste of Her Own Medicine by Delaying Divorce

kim kardsahin kris humphries
In "happier" times.
They say the best revenge is living well, but if I'm Kris Humphries, I'm thinking that, actually, the best revenge is to make my divorce from Kim Kardashian a Herculean task comparable to making a two-footer from the baseline. Rumor has it that since Kim announced her pregnancy with Kanye West, Kris is more motivated than ever to drag out their official split

Interestingly enough, it all starts with Kanye West's father ...
According to Now magazine, Kanye's dad is very Catholic (can you qualify a religion? whatever) and is desperate for Kim and Kanye to tie the knot before the baby gets here so it's not born out of wedlock.

Can't you just feel Kris Humphries rubbing his delicate hands together as he develops his egomaniacal plan to prolong the divorce as long as possible? I sure can, and it's awesome.
Kim needs a taste of her own medicine. She totally turned Kris' world into a soap opera and now it's her turn to feel what it's like to have someone toy with your life. The marriage was all a game to her and poor Kris was swept away by paychecks, stardom, and the death grip Kris Jenner had on his balls.
I don't blame him for turning the tables on Kim. Two can play at her game. Can't wait to see how this all plays out, but knowing the Karashians, it won't be too long before this is made into an episode of reality TV for our viewing pleasure. Score!
What do you think?

Your Background

Competition History
  • 2010 Musclemania Dixie - Model runner up.
  • 2010 SNBF - Bikini Open class, 3rd place.
  • 2011 SNBF - Bikini Tall.
What is your background, and how did you get started in competition?
I was doing mostly cardio and light weights in the past, but I wasn't happy with my results. I decided to get certified in personal training and not be afraid to lift heavier weights. I am a very goal oriented person, so I decided to enter competitions to challenge myself.

Training

Lena LongWhat is your training philosophy?
My training philosophy is that you have to be consistent. I don't believe in an "off season" with what I do. I have to stay in shape no matter what to do photo shoots, write articles and recipes, and to encourage my clients. I train 5-6 days a week focusing on different body parts, however, if I do not have a competition or photo shoot coming up I may take a day off to allow my body to rest. I believe you have to "practice what you preach" each day.
What is a workout that has worked best for you?
  • Monday - I work with a trainer at Body Design on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We do shoulders, triceps, and chest on Mondays. 3 x 15, 10, 8 for each exercise. Sometimes we do pyramids or just straight reps up to 15. We do abs at the end of our training. Ab exercises may consist of crunches, bicycles, V-ups, planks, and toe touches.
  • Tuesday - Heavy Legs (Hamstrings/Glutes/Calves). I do a lot of supersets, pyramids, and drop sets. I try to switch it up to keep my body guessing, and I lift as heavy as I can. 4 x 8 or until failure for each exercise. 10 minute warmup before I start training then I end my training with 20-30 minutes of cardio. For the glute blasters I step up on a step or bench with one foot and squeeze my glutes on the way up. For the glute bridges I lay my back on a big ball and squat down then raise up into a bridge and squeeze my glutes and hold for about 5 seconds.
  • Wednesday - Once again, I meet with my trainer at Body Design, and we workout back and biceps. 4 x 15, 10, 8 for each exercise or sometimes we do straight reps of 15. *21's are holding a dumbbell or a barbell in your hands with wrists facing up. 7 reps lifting halfway then 7 reps halfway all the way up then 7 reps full motion. We do abs at the end of our training. Ab exercises may consist of crunches, bicycles, V-ups, planks, and toe touches.
  • Thursday - I train shoulders again on Thursdays with heavy weight. 4 sets of 8 of each exercise. 10 minute warmup before I start training then I end my training with 20-30 minutes of card.
  • Friday - My trainer and I train legs on Fridays. 4 x 15. We do abs at the end of our training. Ab exercises may consist of crunches, bicycles, V-ups, planks, and toe touches.
  • Saturday - Boot camp! I meet with my Body Design group at a local park for about 45 minutes for cardio blast boot camp. We do a lot of running, jump squats, lunges, stair steps, and sprints.
  • Sunday - Rest!
What are your 3 favorite exercises?
Glute kickbacks, jack knives and squats. I like doing glute exercises because I am trying to fill out a little more. I do jackknives a lot because you are working all of your ab muscles, and squats are great for your legs! They really make your quads pop out!
Any other info you want to add about training?
Stay consistent, get to know your body and what you enjoy doing to stay fit!

Nutrition

What is your philosophy on nutrition?
I encourage my clients to eat fresh vegetables, fruit, lean meat and be creative with your food. If you are consistent then you will see results. I look at it as a lifestyle and not a diet.
Give us a typical day in your diet (off season):
I really eat clean on and off-season. I do allow myself a cheat meal once a week though.
Give us a typical day in your diet (Contest Prep):
My diet on and off season stay the same pretty much. Here is a typical day:
  • Lena Long

Morning: 5-6 egg whites 1/2 cup of oatmeal fruit coffee with sugar free creamer. I sometimes use my egg whites and oats and make it into a pancake.
  • Mid morning snack: Greek yogurt with protein powder, fruit, and almonds.
  • Lunch: Lean protein, veggies, and either a sweet potato or brown rice.
  • Mid afternoon snack: A protein shake or I will make an egg white omelet.
  • Dinner: Lean protein and veggies and/or a salad. If I eat dinner after I train then I will add in a high glycemic carb.
  • Late night snack: Either a casein shake or cottage cheese.
What are your favorite meals and foods?
I love chocolate! I've been very creative with my protein powder to help my sweet tooth! I love peanut butter too! I will eat a tablespoon of it to get rid of my craving.
Favorite cheat food?
Mexican food, pizza, and anything sweet.
Any other info you want to add about diet & nutrition?
Eat 5-6 meals a day and know your portions by measuring your food.

Supplements

What supplement(s) do you use that give you great results? How do you use them?
  1. Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Whey protein powder. I love the flavors and they are not high in carbs and sugar. I cook a lot with my protein, and the flavors are awesome!
  2. Optimum Nutrition's Opti-Women Multi-Vitamins. I started taking these about 8 months ago and can tell I have more energy.
  3. Optimum Nutrition's Glutamine. I have to have this since I train heavy. It really helps my muscles recover.

Advice For Others

What is the best tip you'd give to women thinking about competing?
Get a trainer and a nutritionist. It's very important to look and feel your best. You have to be happy with yourself, and you have to have a passion for it. It's not just a phase it's a lifestyle.
What is your best tip for looking great on competition day?
Plan ahead! This is a big day that takes lots of planning, i.e., training, nutrition, wardrobe, posing practice, tanning, etc. Try different looks in advance that way you have time to play with different hairstyles, makeup, and wardrobe. Don't wait until the last minute.
Lena Long

Future Plans

What would you like to achieve in your career?
I just competed in the SNBF show and am thinking of switching from bikini to figure competing. My muscles have developed more, so I think it's time to move up. I may do the Fitness Universe show in Miami this summer and some NPC shows.
What shows do you have coming up?
Wow! In a year I have achieved a lot. I've been featured in magazines and websites, and I'm a model and writer for FitnessX.com magazine. I would love to be in Oxygen and Muscle and Fitness Hers magazine. I am truly blessed with what is going on in my life right now and can't wait to see what happens. I truly love doing what I do!

Favorite Competitors/Idols

I really look up to Ava Cowan, Monica Brant, and Jamie Eason. These women have truly inspired me into doing what I'm doing now

First Look: Pierre Balmain's Spring 2013 Campaign

Lovely!

Photo: Karim Sadli

It's no secret we're freezing here in BoyVig, counting the days until warm weather comes about, which is why these 2013 spring campaigns have been keeping us going—at least visually. The latest one to give us vacation envy was shot by Karim Sadli for Pierre Balmain's Spring 2013 collection. The campaign was inspired by the idea of "glamour under the sun," and to Pierre Balmain that means the grand hotels founds in Nice and the French Riviera, Les Bains Douches (a popular Parisian club in the '80s), and French actress Jeanne Moreau's style in the 1963 film, La Baie des Anges.
To execute this vision, director Atelier Franck Durand posed models Anna Selezneva and Bastiaan van Gaalan lounging poolside and walking through luxe landscapes.

Of course the clothes also have us itching to shed our down parkas for romantic lace dresses, peasant skirts, and tuxedo jackets. See our favorite images from the ads and watch the video, below.

Is John Galliano Making a Comeback Thanks to Oscar de la Renta?

Photo: Getty Images

According to Oscar de la Renta, everyone deserves a second chance—and currently, that statement refers to designer John Galliano.

In case you need a fashion refresher: In 2011, Galliano made the notorious statement, "I love Hitler" in a Paris cafe, and he was then fired from his role as creative director at Christian Dior, sentenced to suspended fines, stripped of his Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, and basically shunned by the fashion community (retailers literally pulled his product from shelves). But now WWD has learned that de la Renta is opening his NYC design studio to Galliano over the next three weeks. This perhaps marks the first time someone in the fashion world has opened a door to the controversial designer, and potentially one of the biggest comebacks we've yet to see.

"John and I have known each other for many years, and I am a great admirer of his talent," de la Renta told WWD. "He has worked long and hard on his recovery, and I am happy to give him the opportunity to reimmerse himself in the world of fashion and reacclimate in an environment where he has been so creative."

Galliano also took responsibility for his actions. "I am an alcoholic," he stated. "I have been in recovery for the past two years. Several years prior to my sobriety, I descended into the madness of the disease. I said and did things which hurt others, especially members of the Jewish community. I have expressed my sorrow privately and publicly for the pain which I caused, and I continue to do so. I remain committed to making amends to those I have hurt."

Best of 2012: Most Stylish Celebrity Couple

It's great to be fashionable on your own, but having a man who's equally stylish means double the style power. That's the case with each of these six couples who prove that having a partner in crime is doubly chic. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield give off effortlessly cool vibes in their laid-back outfits. Jennifer Aniston is classic, but we love that Justin Theroux brings out her edgier side. Kanye West's love for fashion has clearly rubbed off on Kim Kardashian, as they always look luxe no matter where they go.

And finally, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson coordinate their kick-back style perfectly for every red-carpet appearance. So now that you've gotten a good look at all six couples, it's time to weigh in: which do you think deserves the title of the most stylish celebrity couple of 2012?

David Bowie has celebrated his 66th birthday by releasing a new single, Where Are We Now?, ahead of his first new album in 10 years.
The track was put on sale in the iTunes store in 119 countries on Tuesday morning and a video preview posted on his website, which has been relaunched for the occasion. His 30th studio recording, The Next Day, would be released in March, said the Iso/Columbia record company

The glam-rock singer shot to fame in the late 60s with Space Oddity but has been largely silent in recent years, not performing live since 2006 and rarely appearing in public since then. Bowie turned down the opportunity to appear at the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony despite a personal plea by director Danny Boyle.

"Throwing shadows and avoiding the industry treadmill is very David Bowie despite his extraordinary track record that includes album sales in excess of 130m, not to mention his massive contributions in the area of art, fashion, style, sexual exploration and social commentary," said a Columbia press release.
The record, produced by long-term collaborator Tony Visconti and written by Bowie, was recorded in New York, Columbia said. The single is accompanied by a video directed by Tony Oursler that harks back to Bowie's time in Berlin. He is seen looking in on footage of the auto repair shop beneath the apartment he lived in along with stark images of the city at the time.

The spokesman added that Bowie was the sort of artist who "writes and performs what he wants when he wants".
A second representative subsequently told the Guardian there were no plans for interviews or live dates.

Update: The Search for Vittorio Missoni Continues; Missoni Family Remains Hopeful

Concerns continue to mount as the plane carrying head of the family business, Vittorio Missoni, along with his wife Maurizia Castiglioni, is still missing since its departure from the Los Roques islands on Friday. According to ABC, the Venezuelan government is increasing its search forces, which includes the National Civil Aviation Institute, the Coast Guard, and the Navy.

"All [of] the organizations involved will not diminish the intensity of the search and also will not discard any hypothesis that could lead us [to] the location of the plane," said Venezuela's air transportation ministry in a statement late Sunday, as reported by CNN.

The additions will amplify the large amount of manpower already active, which according to WWD, includes over 385 people, a small plane, and two helicopters.

As the search heightens, rumors as to what happened are circulating. One theory is that there was a kidnapping, which has been providing the Missoni family with some hope. “It’s better to be kidnapped than at the bottom of the sea,” Angela Missoni, Vittorio’s sister, told reporters on Monday via The Daily Beast. "We hope all four are alive and well. We also hope that the searches go in all directions."

The site also reports that the son of Guido Foresti, who was on the plane with Vittorio, received a mysterious text message in Italian which read, "Call now, we are reachable." Unfortunately, the Italian telephone company Telecom Italia Mobile could only confirm that message was sent, and not its time.

Business Insider offers an alternative circumstance theorized by a pilot who witnessed the plane take off. "I saw them right in front of me as they were swallowed up by a huge cumulus cloud," said pilot Enrique Rada in an interview with La Stampa, according to Business Insider. "It was a lightning bolt. It must have been a lightning bolt."

Through it all, the Missoni family has stayed optimistic and used Twitter as a vehicle for spreading the word in hopes of obtaining valuable information in return. The hashtag #FindVittorioMissoni has populated the Twitter sphere thanks in large part to Vittorio's niece Margherita Missoni.

The Missoni head's eldest son Ottavio Missoni Jr., tweeted an Instagram photo with a special message which stated, "Anyone in Venezuela with any information is invited to contact the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by calling the Crisis Unit or emailing the Ministry unita.crisi@esteri.it. Please help us bring Vittorio, Maurizia and their friends home safely. #findvittoriomissoni."

BoyVig wishes the rescue teams and the Missoni family the best of luck during this stressful time, and we'll continue to update this story as more news emerges.
